Methodist Emerging Professionals (MEP) will work to further the mission and values of the Methodist Health System, represent the interests of emerging professionals that provides employees with professional development and engagement opportunities. and support the systems overall diversity and inclusion strategy. 

Vision Statement

The mission of Methodist Emerging Professionals (MEP) is to accelerate the growth of MHS, growing leaders through professional engagement, development, involvement, and connection.

What are the expectations if I join the group?

At this stage we simply ask that you participate, either actively or passively, in the things that interest you. For example, if you are not able to attend an event live, watch the recording when you get a chance. In both cases, share feedback! We ask that you commit to not only your own growth, but the growth of others and the success of the group as a whole.

  • Connecting employees to peers, resources and community leaders, via networking and service to others
  • Create time for members to connect with others across our organization or in our community, and creates inclusive spaces for people to grow and have a bit of fun along the way

  • Prioritizing mentorship, as well as connection of our members to our systems strategic plans and its mission
  • Create an internal network of professionals, and allow opportunities to develop relationships across the organization
