Over the past few years, Methodist Health System employee resource groups (ERGs) have provided numerous ways for employees to get involved with initiatives around Methodist and network with colleagues. They also provide Methodist and its employees with unique opportunities to recognize and celebrate events and activities tied to observances like Pride Month and Veterans Day.

Now, we’re inviting employees to help create a BIPOC (Black, indigenous and people of color) ERG at Methodist. As a founding member of this ERG, you’ll be able to help guide the group in providing a space for employees to connect, share experiences and more – all with the goals of fostering a sense of belonging, improving the employee experience and making Methodist one of the premier employers in the region.

How to get involved

Ready to learn more? Visit the Methodist employee resource group page and complete the form at the bottom of the page. We’re excited to hear your ideas and vision for a successful BIPOC ERG.

More about Methodist ERGs

Methodist ERGs are voluntary, employee-led networks built on shared characteristics or backgrounds and sponsored by the health system. They assist in attracting, engaging, developing and retaining top talent and help to further unleash how we care, educate and innovate health care for the patients and communities we serve.

Why participate in an ERG?

You’ll have opportunities to:

  • Build your network across Methodist and cultivate genuine relationships
  • Attend professional development programming facilitated by subject matter experts
  • Elevate your cultural intelligence by attending events and celebrations, and volunteering
  • Create a sense of belonging that will help Methodist retain top talent
