Benefits Open Enrollment Kicks Off Oct. 16

Human Resources and the benefits team are excited to share that the annual process for benefits open enrollment will begin on Monday, Oct. 16, and close at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3.

Open enrollment provides employees with the opportunity to review their current benefit selections and make changes to their plans and elections.

Note: All employees must re-enroll online via Workday, even if they have no change to their 2024 benefit elections.

Benefit Enhancements

There are multiple enhancements to election options, including to the health system vision plan, life insurance plans and Health Savings Account contribution limits.

This year’s process will take place via Workday, which will provide a more efficient and user-friendly experience.

Other important changes to note for this year’s open enrollment process:

• This will be a completely digital process. You won’t receive a benefit confirmation statement.
• ALL employees will need to log in to Workday and complete the open enrollment process.
• The enrollment deadline is Nov. 3. There will no longer be a two-week grace period after this date.

A document that outlines open enrollment information – including the 2024 health, dental and vision premiums – can be found by searching “open enrollment” in the People Portal. It is also linked on the mhsintranet.
