Join the Methodist Team at the Komen More Than Pink Walk on Oct. 7

Mark your calendars! Methodist Health System is a proud sponsor of the 2023 Komen More Than Pink Walk.
This is a day when we can put aside everything else and share stories, laughter and tears to raise money that saves lives – all while celebrating survivors, supporting those living with breast cancer and honoring loved ones lost.
Everyone – employees, family and friends – is welcome to join the Methodist team. Please consider supporting our patients and community by participating.
Event Information
When: Oct. 7
Gates open at 7:30 a.m.
Opening ceremony begins at 9 a.m.
Walk begins at 9:15 a.m.
Where: Werner Park, 12356 Ballpark Way, Papillion, Nebraska
Registration: Registration is free. To join the Methodist team, click here, then follow the prompts. The Methodist team, which is called "Methodist Walks for a Cure," will be captained by Katie Mutchler and Sam Wight from the Breast Center at Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center. Each registered walker who raises $100 or more by Sept. 10 will be mailed a T-shirt courtesy of Komen Nebraska.
More details: Full event details can be found on the Komen website. Individuals may also donate to the Methodist team or Komen to support the cause. Methodist will also have a booth inside the stadium, and the Mobile 3D Mammography coach will be on-site. We hope to see you there!
Special Event Methodist T-Shirts
T-shirts are available for purchase from Sept. 11 to Sept. 22 at 5 p.m. in the Company Store for $15. The soft-style, cotton/polyester/rayon blend shirts are available in sizes small through 4XL.
A portion of the proceeds from the T-shirt sales will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
When ordering your shirt from the company store, please select your location and the specific department where you want to pick up your order from. If you are unsure of your department or location, select Location G, and your order will be delivered to you.
Shirts are expected to be delivered in early October before the walk. Deliveries will be sent directly to your department’s leadership. Deliveries will not be sent via interoffice mail.
