To thank Methodist employees for their dedication and commitment to our organization, the Human Resources Department is excited to announce an enhancement to our service recognition program. This change reflects our ongoing efforts to acknowledge and celebrate employee contributions.

Regardless of breaks in service or status, Human Resources will now calculate years of service for each employee based on any year in which 416 hours were worked from the employee's original hire date and based on current HR records. This will ensure that all eligible employees receive due credit. One year of service corresponds to an annual commitment of eight hours worked per week (416 total hours in 52 weeks). It's important to note that this change applies exclusively to our service recognition efforts and doesn’t impact other benefit programs.

To view your seniority date in Workday, select “View Profile” under the profile icon at the top right corner of the screen. Then choose “Job” and click on “Service Dates.” To calculate years of service, subtract the year identified in the seniority date from 2024.

We also have a page on the mhsintranet featuring our 2024 service recognition honorees. Click here and choose an honoree report.

We understand that employees have many choices on where they work, and we're honored you chose Methodist.
