Lauren Lier is Methodist Hospital's Employee of the Month for May

Lauren Lier is a nurse practitioner in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department. She embodies our core values of integrity, excellence, learning, compassion, teamwork and respect in everything she does. Lauren has been a Methodist employee for over four years.

From her nomination:

"Lauren is devoted to her patients and works tirelessly to ensure their success. She is able to assist and guide all members of the treatment team and is an excellent team player. She is willing to spend time getting to know her patients and help them as a ‘whole person’ to really make a difference in their outcomes. Lauren is incredibly compassionate and so well respected by patients, their families and team members. She takes the time to explain information at the bedside to each patient. She is a walking book of knowledge and so approachable in every aspect of her work. Lauren is a leader, an irreplaceable team member and an excellent example of the Methodist core values. She has brought such a light and is a great part of the team."
