Methodist Facilities Honored With Press Ganey Awards for Outstanding Patient Experience

Several Methodist Health System facilities were recently honored by Press Ganey with 2022 Human Experience Guardian of Excellence Awards for patient experience.

The awards are part of Press Ganey’s annual ranking of the top hospitals and health systems in the country according to performance in patient experience. Facilities earning the award are in the top 5% for delivering patient experience based on data gathered from Press Ganey surveys of patients.

Methodist facilities receiving the patient experience award are:

  • Methodist Hospital – Recognized for quality inpatient care at the Methodist Acute Rehabilitation Center
  • Methodist Hospital – Recognized for quality inpatient care
  • Methodist Women’s Hospital – Recognized for quality inpatient care
  • Methodist Fremont Health – Recognized for quality infectious disease care led by Angela Sukstorf, MD


Methodist’s Partnership With Press Ganey

In December, Press Ganey representatives visited all of Methodist’s affiliates and shared industry recommendations for further improving patient experience. The visit followed an analysis of 2022 data from Press Ganey patient surveys of Methodist patients. The resulting recommendations focused heavily on patient-centered care and strong communication.
