Join the Methodist Team at the Out of the Darkness Community Walk on Sept. 17
Published: Sept. 7, 2022Methodist Health System is a proud sponsor of the upcoming Out of the Darkness Community Walk.
The walk is a journey of remembrance, hope and support. It unites our communities and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about.
All employees are invited to join the Methodist team and walk as a united front.
Event Information
When: Sept. 17
Registration opens at 11:30 a.m.
Walk begins at 1 p.m.
Where: Stinson Park at Aksarben Village, 67th and Center streets, Omaha
Registration: To register for the event, click here. Be sure to list your team as “Methodist Health System.”
Other ways to participate: There are plenty of ways to get involved beyond walking with the Methodist team. Volunteers are needed, memorial signs can be places along the route for $25 each, and an option to donate to the Methodist team is available.
