New Methodist Physicians Clinic Website Debuts

The MHS Marketing Web Team has released a new Methodist Physicians Clinic website with a wide variety of enhanced features for increased usability, convenience and effectiveness.

The extensive redesign gives the website visual consistency and unified branding with bestcare.org as illustrated by the side-by-side comparison of the home pages of bestcare.org (below left) and methodistphysiciansclinic.com (below right — visit this home page and scroll down to view all MPC locations):

Marketing for Mobile Visitors 

Research has confirmed the tremendous change in how visitors access our MPC site. In 2013, 78 percent of visitors arrived via a desktop personal computer and 22 percent via a mobile device. By the end of 2016, mobile visitors made up the majority of visitors (53 percent), with desktop visitors the minority (47 percent) of the total. 

Meeting the mobile device demand for information requires a fully mobile-enabled, responsive design that instantly and automatically reformats every part of the website to fit the screen of an individual's viewing platform — whether using a smart phone, tablet, PC, etc. Websites that are not mobile-responsive lose visitors and potential patients, clients and appointments.

Marketing MPC Providers

The redesign also enables enhanced promotion on MPC providers, with embedded videos and more in-depth and actionable information, including warm, consumer-friendly biographies of our physicians and mid-level providers. Because the provider list is now tied to an automatic feed from the Med Staff office, the online provider list reflects staff changes. A powerful search function allows consumers to browse, find and select providers of choice and then easily request an appointment from the provider's MethodistPhysiciansClinic.com web page. 

Clickable Phone Numbers and Maps

Another essential improvement is the addition of clickable phone numbers and embedded maps with GPS navigation:

 

The Team Behind the MPC Website

MethodistPhysiciansClinic.com is one of 40 websites managed by the MHS Web Team. Over the past three years, annual visits to the MPC site have increased 182 percent, with more than 652,000 visits to the website in 2016.
